One of the most unique distillery experiences has made its way to Great Lakes Distillery. The Bottle Your Own Experience offers guests an immersive look into the final step of the liquor-making process while creating a personalized keepsake to enjoy at home. Participants will fill, cork, label, and take home a bottle of barrel-strength bourbon, complete with handwritten labels that capture the individuality of each release. Every barrel offers its own distinct flavor profile, proof, and personality. This inaugural batch of Dirty Helen Barrel-Strength Straight Bourbon is over 6 years old and amazingly smooth for a whopping 134 proof.

Join Great Lakes Distillery for Summer Sunday Fundays with half-priced tour & tasting tickets, every Sunday, all summer long! Looking for a fun weekend outing? Been curious about the tour but haven’t taken it yet? Now’s the time!

Our distillery tour has been voted Best Spirits/Wine Tour by OnMilwaukee and Shepherd Express readers many years in a row. During our approximately one hour tour, visitors will learn about Wisconsin’s original craft distillery, our award-winning products, how we make them, and enjoy a guided sampling flight of six spirits.

Join us for our annual Summer Music Series, happening every Sunday from 3pm-6pm on the gorgeous patio at our Milwaukee location! Feel free to bring your furry friends along, as the patio is dog-friendly. Sip on locally crafted cocktails while enjoying live music from talented local artists and chompin’ on killer food from Fox Den. It’s the perfect way to cap off the weekend and enjoy the best of what Milwaukee has to offer!

Each ticket to this yoga session comes with a GLD Bloody Mary. Not drinking, no worries! Non-alcoholic options are available upon request (as are Non-Bloody Mary drinks). This event is perfect for both yoga enthusiasts and those looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend their Sunday morning. Get excited and get ready for our monthly Trivia Night! Happening at our Milwaukee location every second Thursday of the month, we get started at 6pm! Hosted by GLD Vet, Rusty Drinkswell, our trivia is a night of craft spirits, arbitrary knowledge, and fun times. Get in early to get a spot and grab dinner with Fox Den. Trivia is always FREE to play! 

Cask Comedy brings the best in live stand up comedy and pairs it with hand-crafted spirits at Great Lakes Distillery! Picture this: sipping on local spirits surrounded by the very barrels they grew up, noshing on delicious bites from Fox Den, all while laughing at ourselves and life’s struggles. Now that’s what we call a match made in boozy heaven! Doors swing open at 7pm, and the show starts at 8.

The Milwaukee Tasting Room & Patio are closing down around 5PM on Tuesday, Sep. 15th. Don’t fret because the Production Floor Speakeasy is popping up with live music from the Honolulu Millionaires, with Scottie slingin’ drinks. Fox Den will be closed too, so feel free to bring in some food & have a fun little Tuesday with us!

Not familiar with Honolulu Millionaires? They’re Milwaukee’s only Hawaiian band accompanied with singing birds. Need we say more? Come hear it for yourself!

New year, same party! Great Lakes Distillery’s annual Harvest Fest Block Party & Pumpkin Spirit Release, sponsored by Lakefront Brewery, is back for another rockin’ time. There will be live music from The First Wave, with dynamic-duo Alex & Jenn kicking things off. Food will be provided by Fox Den, Street Za, and Lola’s Empanada’s/Antigua. Specialty cocktails, featuring our Pumpkin Seasonal Spirit, distilled with Lakefront Brewery’s Pumpkin Lager, will be pouring at our outdoor bar. Bottle sales end at 9pm (per state law, not ours).

During this workshop, taking place on September 30th, all your materials & instructions will be provided for you to create a beautiful frame of pressed flowers to take home. Linda Laake Designs is a Milwaukee-based designer focused on creating memorable, meaningful experiences through creative workshops and thoughtful event design. Linda will provide all the tools, techniques, and care for your pressed flower art. And even learn tips and tricks to successfully press your own flowers at home! 

 This class takes place on our Production Floor at the Milwaukee Distillery & Tasting Room. Looking to enjoy a craft beverage during class?
