Wash away your winter woes with the third edition of our cocktail class, Cocktails with Emily: Holiday Edition. Throughout the night, GLD Events Coordinator and former Kentucky Bourbon Trail pro, Emily, will guide you through crafting five wonderful winter cocktails. We’ll share our favorite methods for batching drinks so you’re perfectly prepared for all your holiday parties. Everyone will walk away with all the cocktail recipes from the evening (including specialty syrup recipes!), a small buzz, and the skills to make your favorite drinks at home. 

 Along with mixing, shaking, and sipping on your winter cocktails, you could also be going home with your very own Great Lakes Distillery cocktail kit from Bull in China, one of the nation’s premiere bar tool manufacturers. This month, we're celebrating the two-year anniversary of Mullet Bingo!!! Join Samantha from Fig Stitch, for an evening of embroidery at our Still & Oak Tasting Room in West Allis🪡 

Throughout the evening, you will be led through the steps of hand embroidering simple, drink themed designs on a linen cocktail napkin. By the end of the workshop, you'll likely finish one or two of the four provided napkins, and you can take the remaining napkins home to finish stitching! 

This project is beginner friendly and open to ages 21+. All materials are provided and you will even get to take home some basic embroidery supplies (wooden hoop, embroidery floss + needle). Products between all locations will be a wide variety of handmade goods such as jewelry, knit goods, home decor, metal working, prints, soap, paintings, candles, etc. No MLM or direct sales will be present. About Repeal Reserve Straight Rye: 

This bottle of special straight rye whiskey was produced on December 5th, 2020, and bottled exactly 5 years later on December 5th, 2025 - the day we celebrate the repeal of Prohibition. Each year we produce a single barrel of this commemorative whiskey - a mash of 92% rye and 8% malted barley aged in a single new charred oak barrel and bottled at 45% ABV/90 Proof.
