This program is aimed to support survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Swing by the Milwaukee tasting room on April 16th to meet & mingle with staff members from the Healing & Advocacy Program and learn how to support their mission across Wisconsin.

Get excited and get ready for our monthly Trivia Night! Happening at our Milwaukee location every second Thursday of the month, we play 3 rounds starting at 6pm! Hosted by GLD Vet, Rusty Drinkswell, our trivia is a night of craft spirits, arbitrary knowledge, and fun times. Get in early to get a spot and grab dinner with Fox Den. Trivia is always FREE to play! 

April’s Theme: From the Punch Bowl

We’re so excited to welcome back Beth Kluth for another Alcohol Inks workshop! If you’ve taken one of her classes, you know how incredible she is. If not, now is the time to try one! 

 During this class, everyone learns simple techniques for using alcohol inks to create a vibrant floral bouquet, including a vase, different types of flowers, and foliage. Then, we’ll add details and designs with paint pens. Your finished painting will be 12″ x 12″, ready for framing. All supplies are provided, and no experience is needed! This workshop is great for beginners, but those experienced with alcohol inks will surely pick up new tips and techniques.

Nine months ago, The High Note Karaoke Lounge sustained significant water damage, forcing karaoke to pause and leaving staff without work. Throughout the night, GLD Events Coordinator and former Kentucky Bourbon Trail pro, Emily, will guide you through crafting five superb spring cocktails. Everyone will walk away with all recipes for the evening, a small buzz, and the skills to make your favorite drinks at home.

Have you ever taken a distillery tour and wanted something different? Curious about distillation history or spirits of GLD’s past? 

 Join us monthly, on the last Friday, for the Great Lakes Distillery Founders Tour. Hosted by our founder, Guy Rehorst, dive deep into the distillation and aging process, history of distillation in the United States, and in Wisconsin. 

 Each Founder’s Tour includes a tasting flight of six spirits. The twist? Each tasting offers a unique lineup tailored to the group, and may even feature exclusive, sold-out, and limited-edition spirits. Click here to sign up.

Join us for a fun Sunday morning work out with Jigs & Swigs: The Irish Dance Workout®! J + S® is an Irish dance-inspired cardio fitness class open to anybody and everybody (21+)! Take part in a fun workout + reward yourself after with a beverage! All tickets include your first round at GLD. This class is at our Milwaukee (616 W. Virginia St.) location. 

-No dance experience required. J+S® is a fun and challenging workout for non-dancers and dancers alike!

This event, in its second iteration, is hosted by our favorite Milwaukee Lunch Lady. Test your spelling skills while sippin’ on cocktails and see if you have what it takes to win the grand prize! (Don’t worry, 2nd and 3rd place will get prizes too). Registration opens at 6pm and is limited to the first 25 people. First come, first served. The spelling bee will start at 6:30pm and will have three rounds. Grab your honey and don’t be late or you might get stung!

Our annual Touch of Honey Block Party & Spirit Release is back for another year of killer music and tasty spirits! This year’s annual Touch of Honey Block Party & Spirit Release is at our Milwaukee Distillery in Walker’s Point.

We will have live music from The WhiskeyBelles, with our friends Dianna Jones and Madame Furie opening up the stage. Specialty cocktails and samples will be pouring and we’ll be out there dancing. Deer Creek is back again for a fun GLD collaboration, but this evening is not your typical pairing. Serving up cheese and charcuterie at home can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be! Deer Creek likes to keep it simple, and they’ll be sharing their 5-step formula to create a board that spotlights your favorite cheeses and accoutrements. Expect to build your board with sliced charcuterie, fresh and dried fruit, jam and honey, and a variety of crackers, crisps and breads, alongside your selection of Deer Creek Cheeses and herbs to garnish. 

 Along with building your charcuterie boards, you’ll enjoy a selection of welcome cocktails, and our cocktail class instructor and events coordinator, Emily, will host a mini cocktail class. Learn how to craft cocktails for home that pair wonderfully with your new charcuterie boards.
